There are many great local cliffs for your first rock climbing trip near the eastern shore of Lake Champlain.  We'll teach you how to tie in and belay and spend the rest of the day climbing on Vermont Schist right outside of Burlington.

Located on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain, the Greater Burlington Area offers visitors diverse cultural activities, mountain views, back country roads, world-class food, fantastic nightlife, superior shopping and a host of outdoor recreational activities in all four seasons.

Programs are 5-6 hours in length, all equipment is provided. Meeting place is the Eastern Mountain Sports Shop in South Burlington.
